Matthew West Headlines Contemporary Christian Music Day
Some of the brightest stars in Christian music will take the Marsh Free Stage today from 2 to 9 p.m. as part of Contemporary Christian Music Day. The event will feature Matthew West, For King and Country, Jason Castro and Love & the Outcome.
West has released four studio albums and is known for his songs “More,” “You Are Everything” and “The Motions.” He has been nominated for five Dove Awards.
For King and Country is a Christian rock duo composed of Australian-born brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone. In 2012 the bothers released their debut album Crave, the same year the duo was named by Billboard as one of the “New Artists To Watch.”
Jason Castro is an American contemporary Christian singer-songwriter and was the fourth place finalist on the seventh season of American Idol. In January, Castro re-leased his second album Only a Mountain.
Admission to Contemporary Christian Music Day is free with fair admission.
