$10 million Youth Arena Dedicated Tonight
Ten months after construction began, the Fairgrounds’ new $10 million Youth Arena is ready to be officially dedicated. The new 30,000 square foot facility is part of the $53 million Coliseum Complex renovation. The new coliseum will be completed in 2014.
This evening at 5 p.m., Lt. Governor Sue Ellspermann, the Indiana State Fair Commission, the Indiana State Fair Board and 4-H youth will all be in attendance as the Youth Arena is dedicated. The addition of the arena will allow concurrent events to take place inside the Youth Arena and the Coliseum when the Coliseum is reopened next year.
Today’s Youth Arena dedication will be followed by the Indiana State Fair Celebration Awards pres by Farm Bureau Insurance and the 4-H Supreme Livestock Showmanship.
