- 4-H Horse & Pony Contesting classes—Youth Arena at 8 a.m.
- 4-H Beef Showmanship — Coliseum at 8 a.m.
- Taste of the Wild Cookout — DNR Amphitheater at 11 a.m.
- Vocal Throwdown Preliminaries — Subaru Main Street Stage; Jr. from 1:30—3 p.m. & Sr. from 4 – 5:30 p.m.
- Charles Esten and Claire Bowen — Free Stage at 7:30 p.m.
Music Travel Consultants State Fair Band Day!
The 68th annual Indiana State Fair Band Day competition is August 2 with preliminaries beginning at 9 a.m. and the “Sweet 16” bands performing at 8 p.m. High school bands small and large from all over Indiana battle for the honor of being named “Indiana’s Best Band.” Over the years, bands have adapted to the many changes in rules and routines, but the talent and school spirit that shines through during each performance is always strong.

- Great American Duck Race: Family Fun Park at 10:30 a.m., 1, 4, 5:30 & 7:30 p.m.
- MHS pres. Flippenout Extreme Trampoline Show: Dow AgroSciences Celebration Park at 11:30 a.m., 2 & 4:30 p.m.
- Shenanigans! Comedy Wild West Show: Family Fun Park at 12, 3 & 6:30 p.m.
- Indiana Farming Experience: Glass Barn 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Livestock Nursery: North of the Farm Bureau Bldg. 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
