Marion County Public Health Department Announces Flu Shot Clinics
The Marion County Public Health Department will offer low-cost seasonal flu shots at six flu vaccine clinics during the month of October. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends the flu vaccine every year for anyone 6 months of age and older.
Indy Public Library Book Sale Sept 11-12 and Sept. 17-19
The Indianapolis Public Library holds several book sales each year at the Indy Library Store (formerly known as the Secondhand Prose Book Sale). The next book sale is Sept 11-12 and Sept. 17-19. Sept. 11 is Friends Night but memberships can be purchased at the door. This allows early access to the store prior to opening day for the general publicon Saturday.
