The 2nd annual Rescue Party, benefitting Indiana Landmarks’ Endangered Places program, takes place April 27th from 6:00pm-11:00pm at 1201 Central Ave in Indianapolis.
At the Rescue Party you can choose your fun: iron chef-style mixology competition, art show, live auction of one-of-a-kind experiences, dancing to the Impalas, and lavish hors d’oeuvres prepared by Indiana Landmarks Center’s house caterers. They will also be awarding the Cook Cup for Outstanding Restoration and announcing the 10 Most Endangered in 2013.
During Rescue Party, artist Brock Cagann will be working on a painting in the center’s 1201 Gallery, where his show Coloring Historic Indiana will be on display.
The live auction features getaways in historic places, with special “can’t be bought” additions including tours of private sites not open to the public. One unusual auction item is chance to sing with The Impalas at the event.
Tickets are $75 for Friends, $125 for Patrons and may be purchased at rescueparty2013.eventbrite.com.
