
MARION COUNTY, Ind. — The Indiana Department of Transportation announces overnight lane and ramp closures are planned this week on I-465 for traffic sensor installation and bridge deck patching on the east side of Indianapolis.
The following overnight closures are planned for this week, weather permitting:
- Monday, October 27 (8 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
- I-465 northbound reduced to one lane from Shadeland Avenue to 16th Street
- I-74/Shadeland Ave. collector/distributor ramp to I-465 northbound closed
- Tuesday, October 28 (8 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
- I-465 northbound reduced to one lane from Shadeland Ave. to 16th St.
- Wednesday, October 29, and Thursday, October 30 (8 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
- I-465 southbound reduced to one lane from 16th St. to Shadeland Ave.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, avoid distractions, and use extra caution while traveling in and around work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
