Howard County – On Saturday, May 24, 2025, Indiana State Police Detective Mike Lorona began an investigation at the request of the Howard County Sheriff’s Office into the death of inmate Amanda L. Sullivan, 47, from Kokomo, IN.
Preliminary investigations revealed that just after 7:00 PM, Howard County Detention Deputies found Ms. Sullivan lying on the ground and unresponsive. The deputies immediately began administering medical treatment, including CPR. Ms. Sullivan was pronounced deceased at the scene. Notification has been made to her family.
This is an active and ongoing investigation, and an autopsy is pending to determine the exact cause of death. No further information will be released at this time.
Investigators are being assisted by the Howard County Coroner’s Office and the Howard County Sheriff’s Office.
