JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ind. – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor E&B Paving, Inc. is scheduled to close State Road 356 approximately three miles west of State Road 62 on or after Monday, May 12, to complete a pipe replacement project in Jefferson County.

The closure will take place between South Hunter Road and County Road West 350 South located between Lexington and Swanville. S.R. 356 is expected to reopen in mid-June, weather permitting. During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route, which follows S.R. 203 to S.R. 56 to S.R. 62.

This work is part of a contract awarded to E&B in September 2024. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependen,t and schedules are subject to change.

HARRISON COUNTY, Ind. – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Enneking Pressure Cleaning, Inc. is scheduled to begin work on State Road 62 on or after Monday, March 24, to complete two bridge rehabilitation projects in Harrison County.

Work will take place on S.R. 62 over Blue River and the Blue River Overflow Channel both located between U.S. 462 and Harrison Spring Road. Work is expected to be complete in mid-May, weather permitting. Flagging operations will be used at each location while work is in progress.

This work is part of a contract awarded to Enneking in December 2024. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Ind. – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor E&B Paving, Inc. plans to close South Wyandotte Cave Road over I-64 on or after Monday, March 10, to complete two bridge replacement projects in Crawford County.

The closure will take place just south of East Shafer Ridge Road over eastbound and westbound I-64 and is expected to be complete in early December, weather permitting. Shoulder closures will periodically be used on eastbound and westbound I-64 while bridge work is in progress.

Signage will be placed in the area prior to the start of construction. During the closure, motorists should use the official detour which uses S.R. 66 and S.R. 62.

This work is part of a $5.2 million contract awarded to E&B in December 2024.
