BATESVILLE, Ind. — Hill-Rom Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: HRC) announced today that it has elected William H. (Hank) Kucheman to its Board of Directors. Kucheman recently served as interim Chief Executive Officer for Boston Scientific Corporation. During his tenure with Boston Scientific, he held senior business leadership roles, including Executive Vice President and Group President of the Cardiology, Rhythm and Vascular Group and global marketing roles, such as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Cardiovascular. Kucheman has also served on the board of directors of the Global Health Exchange.
“Hank brings a wealth of experience in the medical device industry that will deepen the strength of our Board at Hill-Rom,” says Rolf A. Classon, Chairman of the Hill-Rom Board of Directors. “The combination of his strategic knowledge, operational experience and his background in sales and marketing adds valuable and complementary skills.”
Kucheman began his career at the United States Air Force Academy Hospital and later was Healthcare Planner, Office of the Surgeon General, for the United States Air Force Medical Service. He earned Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
